Electro Harmonix Stereo Memory Man Delay with Hazarai Stereo Delay with Echo and Loop Pedal
Memory man delays have long been coverted as one of the superior delays and with the new release of the Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai its know surprise to see guitarist clamoring to get their hands on the latest delay effect from Electro Harmonix.
On first glance the sturdy blue box looks packed with features - with it’s fascia covered in knobs and lights - however once you get down to it its not too hard to get some wicked delays. This box is a delay lovers heaven with echo’s, loops (great for solo players looking for background) and multi tap delays. What’s special about this box is the Hazarai knob which allows you to dial in presets for the effects on the box.
As to be expected the settings on the box are easily customizable and everyone will no doubt soon have their fav settings. Featuring 24 bit and 46.88k digital processing and 32 bit loops the sound quality is crystal clear (perhaps too crisp for analogue lovers). Delays can fatten up any sound and used constructively can really add some spice - for those wishing to imitate U2’s the Edge - well it’s all here in spades for those with a more hard rock bent it’s got the versatility.
Construction is good and the box is looks sturdy enough to stand up to the rigours of gigging (and the 60’s style blue fascia is pretty appealing!)
Overall this is a great pedal that will sit well in your effects rack - EH have a well established history for producing quality effects and they continue that with this box.
