It’s beautifully balanced, with a contour that allows easy access to all 26 frets. The ovangkol body and MEC electronics combine nicely to make a bass that can fit into any musical situation.
If versatility is the key then the doplhin provides it with a wide sonic range. The pickups and electronics provide plenty of punch and theres enough vibrancy from the body to provide some signature tones.
Looks wise this is a beauty - quality materials including gold hardware and choicest woods provide the eye candy - and sure it might be a tad heavy but with whats on offer here that’s a small quibble.
Price wise this is not a cheap bass by any means but if you’ve got the budget theres plenty to like here.
