John Mayer (who’s recent album Continuum helped propel him to both mainstream popularity and Grammy success) has linked up with Ernie Ball to promote their line of strings.

Mayer has strode the line successfully between blues and pop with collaborations with the likes of Eric Clapton and BB King - and it’s no surprise that companies like Ernie Ball are lining up to grab him as an endorse (Fender having already produced some signature Mayer guitars).
